Would You Like To Take A Tour?
We chose Tobago as the backdrop for our wedding because it holds a special place in our hearts and was the beginning of many adventurous trips we’ve taken on our journey. Also, with its breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear waters, Tobago is also a dream for a destination wedding. We knew it would be a great choice for us to share a taste of our Caribbean heritage and provide our guests with an experience beyond the wedding ceremony. So, let’s see how we can do that.
There are a variety of tour options available to explore the island. Whether you're looking for cultural experiences or adventures in nature, Tobago has something for everyone. We have three options in mind for Friday, July 7th. By then we suspect most of our guests will be there for the big day. These tours will be set up for in the morning to mid afternoon and you will pay tour operators/establishments directly.
Island Tour
If you're looking to explore all that Tobago has to offer, the Island Tour is a great option. This tour takes you on a journey to some of the most popular landmarks on this quaintly small but picturesque island. One of the landmarks is Fort James, a historic colonial site overlooking Great Courland Bay. You'll also have the chance to enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the coastline, flora, fauna and rainforests along the way.
Bucco Reef and Nylon Pool Tour
For those looking to explore the underwater world of Tobago, the Bucco Reef and Nylon Pool Tour is a must-try. You'll start your adventure with a glass-bottom boat ride to Bucco Reef, where you'll have the chance to snorkel among colorful fish and beautiful coral. Next, you'll head to Nylon Pool, a shallow sandbar in the middle of the ocean, perfect for swimming and chilling.
Dwayne's Bespoke Tour
For a more personalized experience, Dwayne wants to curate a Bespoke Tour for a taste of Tobagonian cultural. This tour is completely customizable, allowing you to tailor your experience to your interests. You'll have the chance to explore the island's culture through visits to local restaurants and bars, as well as cultural landmarks like the Buccoo Goat Racing Stadium (yes, that’s a thing!) and places where we like to lime when we visit.
